Marianne Fieber MSEd

Instructor

Marianne is the Programs Administrator for Raphael Academy and the Guild at Raphael Village. The K-12 school and adult day habilitation are Waldorf-inspired Camphill-affiliated programs serving individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down’s Syndrome, and other exceptionalities in New Orleans, LA. Originally from South Milwaukee, WI, she has been working in Waldorf Schools for over two decades as a Teacher and Administrator in several schools in the upper Midwest. 


Marianne completed a Foundation Year at Emerson College in the UK in 1998; earned an M.S. Ed in Waldorf Administration and Community Development  from Sunbridge College, NY, in 2006; and a Teacher Certification from Arcturus Rudolf Steiner Education in 2008. Over the years she has taught children and adults and led workshops and retreats serving on the Central Regional Council and General Council of the Anthroposophical Society in America. She is the founder and director of the Songtrails Project, a walking and singing festival experience dedicated to fostering an artistic and living connection with the Spirit of Place, wherever we are. Marianne is delighted to be returning as a faculty member with Great Lakes Waldorf Institute.
