Classroom Management Workshop - Registration Closed
For Waldorf and Non-Waldorf Teachers

To offer this workshop, we need a minimum of 15 participants
Interactive two day virtual workshop designed to support teachers with managing a healthy classroom that provides a safe, warm learning environment that allows all to work towards their greatest potential. Recommended for grades 1-8 class or special subject teachers.
The workshop will cover techniques for establishing good classroom management including:
Setting expectations and follow through
Building student rapport
Creating a healthy routine/rhythm
Inner development of the teacher
15% discount for GLWI students, GLWI alum, and schools sending 2 or more people.
Lindsey Earle completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in elementary education and special education from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, receiving her Wisconsin State teaching license. Lindsey has attended Waldorf lower grades trainings at The Rudolf Steiner College in Sacramento, CA and Kimberton Hills, PA.
Lindsey is a graduate of Prairie Hill Waldorf School and has taught at the school in varying capacities since 2009.
Lindsey feels that Waldorf education provides the children with a curriculum that meets their needs on their own time. She loves that each grade is carefully crafted so that the children continue to find wonder and beauty in the world, and that upon graduation from the school they can move forth in the world with a sense of purpose.
Chris Kilmer has more than 25 years of teaching experience and has graduated three classes at Prairie Hill Waldorf School. She has deep roots in the Waldorf, Anthroposophical and Biodynamic movements in Wisconsin along with her extended family. Chris’s mom, Ruth, attended a Waldorf school as a child and her parents were friends of Rudolf Steiner, Waldorf founder. She attended a Waldorf High School in Germany as well.
Chris completed her B.S. in Elementary education from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, and holds her Wisconsin teaching license. She has completed coursework in Developmental Reading, Environmental Education in the classroom, and Language Acquisition of a Bilingual Child at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and Teaching the Gifted and Talented from Carroll University. She has completed grade intensives at Rudolf Steiner College and Sunbridge College.
Chris believes that unlocking the potential of each student and guiding them to become creative, free-thinking individuals is one of the greatest gifts teaching provides. She values the opportunity to follow children through their different developmental stages and getting to deeply know each unique child. She brings understanding, patience and a wealth of knowledge to her students, helping them to thrive in all stages of their development.
