How To Apply

Thank you for considering Great Lakes Waldorf Institute for your Waldorf teacher education!

Certificate Program

Welcomes applicants who have completed at least two years at an accredited college or university or are currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program. GLWI encourages all individuals who are interested to apply. A bachelor’s degree is not required to pursue a certificate. When making decisions regarding admissions, each candidate's studies, work, and life experience are taken into consideration.

Master's Degree Program

Welcomes applicants who have completed their bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university.

Application Process

Great Lakes Waldorf Institute has a rolling admission. Applications are accepted year-round for sessions beginning July, September, and February. To begin:

  • Complete an online application form

  • A completed application includes:

    • Application form​

    • Current resume

    • Personal statement

    • Two letters of recommendation sent directly to Great Lakes Institute Admissions Office

    • Official transcripts*

    • One-time $50 application fee

*Transcripts should be sent directly from your institution if you are applying for a master's degree.
