ART in RHYTHM with NATURE

Spring 2026 - Spring 2027 (Online)

Course Overview

Instructor: Adrienne Patrick

This course follows a seasonally inspired path of visual arts praxis in search of the human being as a co-conspirator in cycles of creation. Through exploration of artists’ biographies, application of media, and techniques grounded in the cycles of the natural world, we seek to align our inner rhythms with 4 seasonal gestures, and with their midway points– the fulcra between what is settling into memory and what is readying to come into being.

Art enthusiasts, creators of ritual, and anyone interested in developing capacities for observation, artistic technique, and a feel for temporal cartography, as demonstrated by Earth, are welcome to participate. These virtual gatherings will focus on liberating a sense of individual genius while also building and strengthening technical skills.

Virtual sessions will take the form of mini weekend retreats every 6 weeks on Saturday & Sunday mornings. Participants have the option of registering for individual workshops or for the full year at a discounted rate.
