Waldorf Teacher Education Programs

Join us for a virtual Open House to meet members of the Great Lakes Waldorf Institute and learn more about our Waldorf teacher education program. This program leads to a Waldorf teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education or Grades 1–8 Education, with an option to complete a Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.) through Mount Mary University.

Our three-year, part-time program combines virtual courses during the school year with in-person experiences in the summer. Together, these provide a strong, contemporary foundation in the philosophical and pedagogical ideals of Waldorf education, along with practical, applicable approaches that teachers can use in their classrooms.
